Are hawks not protected in your area? I have a set of huge white duck wings that I have preserved and I had no idea what to do with them. This seems like a neat idea. Mind if I ask how they are attached?
Hawks enjoy partial protection over here, and I enjoy pickings off the road. So far my method of attachment includes threading thin wire through the wings and fixing it onto a wooden back, often propped in position with furniture foam, with a dab of hotglue here and there. I was given some massive Canadian Goose wings last night, so it's going to be a fun job today working out how to mount them. They are heavier than any of my previous mounts
